Wednesday-On the way to Espanola, NM

I gave you an over view of Tuesday on my last blog so now for Wednedsay. We left La Luz at daylight heading for Espanola (a town outside of Santa Fe). Pat chose this town as it was central to where we want to travel to by bike and car to visit this area of New Mexico. I was surprised at the size of the town, they have a Walmart and all other restaurants that we are used to.

On our way to Espanola we found that La Luz looked like an oasis compared to some of the countryside we saw along the way. There were some areas where the cactus wouldn't even grow. Then we came to the town named after Pat, LOL. See pics.

The next pic you'll see is Blaze waiting for his Dad to come back from WhataBurger with our mid morning snack. Since we got up and had such an early breakfast we were hungry. We each got a junior whopper. It hit the spot and gave us the energy to continue on our journey to Espanola.

Isn't he cute!

Arrived in Espanola about 1:00 and found that the wifi was working good. This RV park is a very narrow park and we're kind of down in a hollow. It appears that there are a lot of travel trailers that are staying here on a permanent basis. We will stay here for a week before we have to decide on our next destination.

I'm looking forward to visiting the sites in this area so stay tuned for more pics and tales of our adventure.........
