Woke up Tuesday at around 5:00 and drove down the mountain, me following Pat in the SUV. Made it down the mountain with no problems and off to Cody, Wy and an additional 15 miles out to our RV site. Here's the pics on the way.
The tunnel above is going over the Buffalo Bill Dam, and yes this is water you are looking at. Kinda muddy.
We made it! I went to work for 3 hours. Then Pat suggested that we ride into Yellowstone Park in the SUV. We loaded up, Blaze in tow, and off we went. We are 30 miles from Yellowstone and before we got there it was raining. We started through the Park and it wasn't long until we had to stop for a buffalo in the road.
Then we met up with the smelly releases (sulphur) from the underground.
After many hours we finally came to "Old Faithful". We timed it pretty good as only had to wait maybe 15 minutes before it blew. It goes off every 90 minutes.
We made it home by 7:00 in the evening, we had been driving in the park for over 6 hours. I tried to work again but VPN wouldn't cooperate so gave up and ate some popcorn and watched TV. This is good night for Tuesday.
Wednesday is short and sweet, worked 9 hours from 5:30am to even answering calls and tending to e-mails after 5 PM Texas time.Didn't get out of my pajamas the whole day. Things get better for Thursday.....
