Saturday-Bigfork, MT

Today we had many options of things to do in the area. Bigfork was having an Art festival downtown, Lakeside was having a classic Boat show and Polson was having an antique car show. We biked by the Art Festival area in Bigfork and there were waiting lines to get parked and walk to the Festival so we opted to take in the boat show in Lakeside.

The boat above was named Wicked Wood.

This boat was named after my grandaughter.

It was a beautiful day and we really enjoyed looking at the boats and talking to some of the boat owners. One boat was built in 1937. I think the reason we like it here so much is that we are close to the water as Pat and I both are water people.

After the boat show we biked home but stopped at Woods Bay to eat at the lakeside restaurant we'd eaten at before, Raven. I had some great fish tacos, good and spicy. While there we met a couple across from our table that had been retired for 6 years and they were traveling in thier 5th Wheel. They were much younger than us and both were retired school teachers from the Superior Lake area. We enjoyed sharing stories and then it was time to get home.

After a bit we went outside to have happy hour and sat down with our neighbors and ending up showing off the RV and talking until around 10:30.

We had a full and enjoyable day. Tomorrow I think we'll go back to the lake and soak up some sun.....
