Well, it's been a while since my last blog so will give you a brief synopsis of the last month.
We were staying at Blaze's favorite RV park in Georgetown, TX, Berry Springs; it's his favorite as Sheryl at the office gives him bacon treats everyday, in fact, several times a day or as often as he can get Pat to take him to the office.
I visited my office several times and put in lots of work. I visited my daugher in Temple. We had a great time getting pedicures, shopping and going to a Mystery Dinner. Cody has a new girlfriend (where's that guy at Christmas who stated he was giving up women) and Vanna is still seeing her beau. Both kids are doing well in school with Cody graduating at the end of May.
We left Georgetown on Thursday, April 5th driving to Lewisville, TX to stay for a week at the State Park. We chose this park as it is close to Wayne, Pat's 1st wife's father who lives in Flower Mound. The park area is very nice, they have 2 golf courses, baseball and soccer fields and of course Lake Lewisville. I got my hour walk in most days. We enjoyed visits with Wayne and Sarah, Wayne's friend at the retirement home, several times during our stay and even got to visit with Jenny, Wayne's granddaughter before we left.
We went to dinner one night with 2 couples from Pat's past, Don and Dianne (Pat & Karen used to live in the same Mobile home Park as Don & Dianne back in the 70's) and Dwayne and Linda.
Friday we left Lewisville to start our travels east, heading towards Hot Springs, Arkansas. We hope to do a lot of bike riding on the roads in Arkansas. Stay tuned for pics and tales of our adventures in the days to come.......
